Ink Monkey Sweatshop

Challenge: This illustrator wanted to begin doing freelance work and needed a web site where potential clients could view his large portfolio of work. He had started a design himself but had gotten stuck and was not happy with where the design was going. Having some experience with Web site design, he wanted to be able to update the final Web site himself.

Solution: After consulting with this client it was decided to begin with a fresh design and a new direction. In designing the web site our designer did not use any outside artwork or images. This way the design strongly reflects the illustrator’s unique style and ability. We expanded on the idea of using the monkey with the logo by working with the client and creating a different monkey for every page on the Web site.
